📖 How to use a dictionary

• Open as close to the word as you can — for "APPLE" it will be near the end of the English "A" section.
• Always look for a word by comparing it to the guide words in the top corners of the page (the first and last word on the page).
• Never flick through page after page or "read" it like a book. Aim to find the word by opening the book and turning pages just once or twice.
